Sentosa RWS Staycation- Day 1

Aunty Wendeline said she had a free hotel stay at Festive Hotel and a free meal voucher.. and asked if we were interested ...

Because she said her daughter is studying overseas, she thought our family will enjoy the stay more...  we said ok and because Ace was having exams, we asked if we could use it during the thurs-fri sort of timing (sat was a PH so fri no school) and she actually managed to arrange for us though the voucher was not supposed to be used on weekends on PH.

It was so kind of her because she needed to come down and check in for us on that day in order to let us use the voucher. And Ace was really happy because it will happen on the day of his last paper.

This will be our second time staying in RWS.. first time I won a contest and got a room at Hard Rock Hotel....

Glad we can come back again and try out a different hotel... When we saw our room, Ace was so excited that his bed had a ladder he could climb!:)

Decided to take out my selfie stick to use.. wanted to take family photo but tat silly Max just snuggled close to Ace and zzzzz

This photo is to show you that once we reached our room, Ace is again doing his favorite activity.. watching cartoon... Hahahaahah... His dad wanted to take a nap. I asked him if he wanted to go pokemon hunting and he said he wanted to rest...

Ok enough rest, time to go Pokemon Hunting. Max said he will go for a drink and we will meet up later....

No maps... so we just randomly walked around RWS lah...

Walked around and wondered why there is a pokestop in the middle of the sea!? And then I realized there is some sort of floating building there and the pokestop is actually inside..

As usual, must take photo of flowers when I see beautiful ones...

Passed by the Pokemon Exhibition. Actually, Ace wanted to go.. but hor, my friend said that it is very boring, you just pick a ball and guess the pokemon based on the info you find out after playing at the various stations. You can't even bring back the pokemon... so I told Ace dun waste money lah... Just take photo with the poster can liao:) hahahah

LIke a tourist, must take photos of all the beautiful boats and ships mah:)

Ace asked me to take picture of this pigeon because he says it is so pretty... it looks like it is wearing a scarf...

So cute right.. so I asked Ace to take photo for me:)

Then time to go and find his dad.. we saw this lego shop and played game of guess how much is this car...

I have an apple... I have a pen...

Went to find Max... and he was chillaxing at the Hard Rock lounge...

Shiok...

But Ace sat down and started doing this... sigh..

So I people watch lor...

Saw this really cute baby... so cute lor.. reminds me of Ace when he was a toddler.. so cute also... how did he grow till my height so fast!?

Nothing to do.. so I spin pokestop lor..

Our good friend very shiok... sit there eat chips and do nothing else..

The baby just stand there and play with a straw also... so cute...

Ace learning how to pour beer for his dad...

And then they had a wrestling match...

Then we went back to our room to prepare to go for dinner. The cheeky father went into the ice room and took some ice... and then ran to stuff the rice into his son's shirt... Boh liao... hahahah

Then they played the game of "see who can climb into bed first".... And only finally stopped when Max accidentally hurt Ace's hand..

Then it was time for us to go dinner at an Italian restaurant...

Ace says this cup is very interesting.. cos it has so many bubbles inside.. According to Mr Know-It-All, he says if this cup breaks, the pieces will fly very very far.. because inside alot of air bubbles..

Our dinner vouher is for two onli.... so we ordered more food and drinks for Ace:)

And Max ordered a red wine too..

We found out that the lighting will create this really beautiful pattern under the wine glass as it shines through the wine....  And we spent so much time taking photo and video of us swirling the wine glass... hahaha

The restaurant offered us free appetizers.... and they were so tasty.. it is something like a crunchy tart base... and inside there is some olive or truffle oil made into very very small bubbles... and then there is egg mayo at the top... Really delicious!

That is Ace slowly enjoying it.. hahahaha:)

Cos Ace liked it so much.. me share with Max so he can have another one lor...

While waiting for the food to come, we continued to experiment with different lighting conditions and different amount of wine in the glass..

The bread they served was really tasty...

So was the vegetable soup...

Ace's favorite cheese was also good cos they used this really tasty sauce to complement the dish... very nice

Unfortunately the main was so so niah... Kind of a let down after the very good appetisers...

Max chose the gnocchi since it was vegetarian... and surprisingly, Ace liked it too:) haha

Mushroom pizza! But so so only also..

Actually the gnocchi is quite jelat... But Ace finished it cos it has such tasty sauce.. eat till almost want to lick the whole plate clean:) hahaha

Time for dessert.. tiramisu... again is so so niah..

Then boh liao Ace started playing with the water bottle... Silly boy even wanted to bring the bottle back...

And then I took out my selfie stick.. time for us to take a selfie..

Just in case ,we also asked the waitress to help us take one more:)

THen we went back to our room....

Walked past these beautiful displays and so took photo lor..

Then the silly boy started to do a DAB...

And when his dad came out from toilet.. the two men started to do DAB in public lor! hahahahaha

Then Ace num num chum chum... wanna go walk walk... dun wanna go back to the room.. so we go walk walk and went to Candylicious.. when we passed by in the afternoon, he asked if he could buy something.. he asked his dad and his dad say go in and see lor.. so he went walking around to find what he wanted to buy...

He was excited and wanted to buy this.. but i told him this is so unhealthy.. just sugar all the way..

why do they sell this I also dun understand..

Wah... hard and sour wor... how to eat :)

Ace said his teacher bought this for them and it is very nice so we bought a few packets... so we can eat and pass some to Popo house...

Then Ace asked if he could buy some jellybeans...

His dad gave him a go ahead and said he could buy more to share with his classmates...

When we came out, we saw some people who were all dressed up... Turns out it was Halloween weekend!

And hor, Ace say he is hungry and kept saying he wanted to order room service...

I asked him why.. room service is ex and not tasty.. he says he wants to order simply cos he has never ordered before and never done it before... so we went to 7/11 to buy some drinks and went back to our room to fulfill Ace's DREAM of eating ROOM SERVICE....

Finished bathing and all ready to CHOOSE his food!

In the end he chose laksa, fries and chocolate cake...

Eat so much in Italian restaurant still got space in stomach for more food.. I really think he is amazing!

Wah so many prawns... Means I got to eat them all... cos I am the only non vegetarian in the family..

Enjoying himself after I took out the prawns...

I was so tired i zzzz... father also KO.. and Ace watched cartoon till dunno when then KO after tat..
