Legend Of The Marshes

Remember how I borrowed Shui Hu Zhuan (Legend of the Marshes) for Ace to read?

After working on it for some time, we finally made some decent progress and he is started to get a little more used to the phrases in the book but still most of the time dun understand what is being read to him! hahaha

But I am also finding that it is very difficult to keep track of all the characters inside the book because there are 108 heros at least in the entire story. And that is even though I already watched the TV series ONCE and already know of the more famous ones like Chao Gai, Song Jiang, Wu Song, Lin Chong and the Hua He Shang...

So hor, we started giving them NICKNAMES:) hahahaa...

This is Li Kui... we have named him Dor Zai Man.... cos of his belly-button showing outfit.....

This is Lu Zhishen... we call him Nipple Man (Ace came up with that) because he has and outfit that shows off his nipples ;) hahahahahaa....

Very chuan... now finally near the last part of the story.. Actually I realized the story is quite confusing cos the pple awhile work for govt.. awhile decide to join Liang Shan and become bandits... sometimes I am also quite lost as to whether they are Liang Shan heros or not:) Last para they were still fighting fervently against the Liang Shan heros and next chapter, they join Liang Shan liao and ask their fren to join too.. wah lau.... 那么没原则。

Plus... they can be quite vicious as well.... Like killing is no big deal to achieve their means..and even the more lofty and noble ones amongst them are well known for loyalty and bravery, not really exact kind or peaceful... hahahahaha...

Ace says the characters inside all so stupid... cos there area few times while wat war, they will pretend to retreat and the other party will chase after them and end up in a trap. same trick used so many times liao they still dun wake up their idea:) hahahaha..

I am looking forward to completing the book and moving on to another book we borrowed about Ni Ni!:)
