PANTRY Cafe

We picked Ace up from his cool birthday party (where they got a ride around town in a LIMO... the super long type) ended up in the WASL SQ area... initially we wanted to eat this thai food we went to but could not find free tables...  but leh, it is still full and need to wait 30 min...

Max says his colleague who lives in the area recommended this place called PANTRY Cafe.. so we decided to give it a try...

It was really huge.. and not nuch people inside.. we opened the menu and realized why... the food here very ex lor... a dish is like at least 60 dirhams.. that is almost like SGP prices:) wahahaha..  As I was also quite full, I asked Max to just order food for himself and dun order for me...

Ace ordered some omelette thingy... from the kids meal menu.. so they gave him really tiny fork and knife...

Ace was like, "I dunno how to use this?!"

And then he saw this thing called BABYCINO. and insisted on ordering it... cos he said he wanted to try.. he never bother to ask what is it.. he probably tot coffee or wat...

That is his WTF look when the BABYCINO came...

IT was just steam milk made into bubbles with chocholate powder on top!

After he finish drinking, Ace says he will NEVER order this again! ;)

In the end, he used the adult cutlery and I used the baby ones:)

His scrambled eggs came with HIGH CLASS KETCHUP in a bottle lor:) I say want to bring the leftover home.. Max say ask me dun be a cheapo.. wahahaha ;)

The stupid cafe hor, cannot replace anything one.. we say sausage can replace with hashbrown or more of the pumokin slice or not.. they say NO.. so we ordered as it is.. i eat the sausage, Ace eat the rest lor... But the set looks quite sad.. given the amt we paid...

But leh, when the food that Max ordered came.. we start to have a better impression of this place

This is baked cheese with honey.. very nice lor:) And the portion quite big too...

The baked brinjal was super good and totally won Max over.

We later realized the price is steep because the food here is Organic.. and also the portions are big.. so not so bad lah..

Heng Max did not order my share and I was able to help them eat a little here and there.. and also, Ace was super hungry, so he ate alot.. if not, Max will eat till bao zha!:) wahahaha

On our way back to the car, we saw a Jap bakery.. alot of arabic people sitting inside.. wonder if the bread is good.. looks good at any rate.. saw totoro and Hello Kitty bread:)

Saw another shop selling baby stuff.. the fake bb in the basic looks kind of scary...

Max posing the the Thai Mona Lisa outisde the thai restaurant we had initially wanted to visit...

Goodbye, Pantry, I think we will be back again...
