Valentine's Day 2013

When you are a little older and married... Vday is not such a big deal anymore like say when you had your first boyfriend in your teens:) Like Max always says.. if you got heart, everyday is also Valentine's Day:)

So this year leh, we did not make any plans to do anything special. Our aunty, S, jio us to go dancing and drinking with them at this pub called Happy Dayz in Bedok Interchange.. we were told there is a good LIVE band there and so we went lor:)

Actually, the inside is not too bad. Alas, the songs they play are all for those people who learn line dancing or ballroom dancing. In short, it is an old man or old woman's bar.. they kept asking us to go and dance.. and we declined.. not because we dont want to dance but actually, I dunno how to dance to those oldies sort of music:) wahahahahaha.. Some of them is not even retro:)

THe group of aunties in the next table I think very good lor.. they spend $5 on a drink and can dance whole night.. and they even bring their own snacks to eat:) wahahahaha.. cheap and wholesome entertainment...

The night ended when the DJ played Love, Me.. which was OUR SONG.. so Me and Max at least did a romantic slow dance with each other lor:)

Anyway, after tat, it was time to go home.. and then Max say still hungry. So we decided to go 85 to eat our favourite... It was raining and we shared a small umbrella amongst us.. SORT OF ROMANTIC as well:) and is our little romantic v day supper:) wahahah

Max ordered beer and won 90 cents! Huat ah.. uncle say not every bottle got prize one...

A few days ago, we also went on a date lah.. I went out first and met Max at Clark Quay... and then we had a drink and walked around clark quay..

we found tat it was actually quite sad.. many places were very empty and we thought wat a bummer to go home early on a day we can finally go on a date...

Then we passed by this pub that says the live band starts at 10 and we went in.. when we saw the band members initially, we were sort of wondering if they can play music or not.  they all looked like ANYTHING but band musicians:) wahhaahah... But when they started playing, I must say that they were really quite good;)

All in all, not bad lah, fulfilled my two date criteria this trip home:) hee

Ace though was bothersome.. kept calling us and asking us can use ipad or not.. when are we coming home.. blah blah blah.. told him we dont have much chance to go out on our own.. so dun bother us.. wahahahah:)

Someone took it to mean we don't want him around so was sulky next few days until we explained that we love to be with him and go out with him too but sometimes, a husband and wife need their own time together to create better relationship between them. That is something we rarely have a chance to do in Dubai and so can only do when we go back to Singapore..

Oh well, looking forward to the next trip home and the next few dates.. Meanwhile, I guess we have to make do with quick dates when Ace goes for some sort of birthday party..
