Pink Ribbon Walk

Max's office was organizing a group of people to go support the Pink Ribbon walk that is organized by the breast cancer foundation and sponsored partially by Burjuman.. the shopping mall near our place.. so Max signed the three of us up for the walk just to have something to do lah.. since it is also for a good cause and so near to our house:) Up bright and early and ready to walk :)

The boys are all ready to start....

Waited around for a while and met up with max's colleagues.. gosh.. only the girls turned out.. wahahahaha... Max and Ace are the only thorns amongst the roses... anyway, another guy joined us later... seems like walking is a girl's thing.. most of the guys merely "donated" the money and continued sleeping.. hahahaha:)

Hehehe.. couldnt resist but take this pic of this man who looked out of place and uneasy in a shirt with a pink ribbon on it! wahahahahaha...

Some very gao gang women actually go and cut up their shirts and make hair accesories to go with the outfit as well.... The shirt is quite ugly in shape and i was tempted to cut it up as well but i remembered winter is coming and it is long and sleeves are a little longer.. good for sleeping in. so i din cut lor:) wahahaha

It started to get warm and crowded so our good little boy start to chut pattern and ask his daddy to carry him.. hahahahah

Apparently one of the event participants is a drumming club... so we saw alot of pple carrying drums and drumming as they went.. really added to the carnival feel...

They even had these girls stand on platform to dance lor.. so poor thing.. the weather so hot and they have to dance and dance for at least half an hour in the hot hot sun....
Mr Ace Chua cannot take the sun and start to whine liao....

That's the crowd behind us....

Finally, they release the balloons.. which meant the walk is starting soon!:)

Max says the balloons with strings look like sperms in the air.. wahahahahahha:)

Okie, Devalraj, the other guy finally arrived.. so here are our only three male participants from ISS:) hahahaha
This group of people made me tear... they were shouting, "Fight, Chitt, Fight!" to cheer and support their friend, Chitt, who is fighting breast cancer now... wat a beautiful group of people...

Even the dogs feel a need to do something for breast cancer foundation and come and do the walk with pink scarfs around their necks:) cool eh?:P

Ace looking hot and bothered:S

His eyes only lit up when we got him to pose beside a police motorbike:) wahahaha

"Daddy.. can you carry me????"

So finally, after half the way, daddy finally did....

Got pple carry him liao.. still grumpy.. hahahaha

And again, finally broke out into a smile when he had a chance to take pic with the police car... wahahahahahahah

Helping daddy scratch his nose ....

After the walk ended, there is a carnival inside the shopping mall...

I got to take pic with Hello Kitty!:)

There is LIVE band...

Jugglars... and many tables selling things... all in all, I think quite a well done event:)

Max and Devalraj taking a pic before we leave... cos Max junior wanted to eat mac donalds and there is no mac donalds here....

We came across this free drumming lesson.. which was quite fun.. me and Max enjoyed it but Ace who was hungry was just waiting to go to Mac Donalds...

We walked over to Spinney's which was beside Burjuman only to find the Mac donalds totally full and the staff super duper SLOW.. so Max decieded to walk home to get the car while me and Ace hang around and waited for him... we went into a book store and my son was exctied to find....

Archie comic books! hahahaha.. Since Grace and JZ visited us and showed him a comic strip, he is now very interested in drawing comic strips and reading comics:)

Gee, I din even know who Archie is when i was his age and I only started reading enid blyton when I was 7, going on 8.....

That's Ace heaving a sigh of relief when we finally reached Mac donalds:)

That's Max saying, "Chuanz man..." cos he finally can get to sit down and rest and not take care of our da shao ye.. hahahahha:)

But it was a great thing to do lah.. beats lying around in bed and just watching tv like our usual boring life... I enjoyed myself very much and despite the whining.. i think so did Ace:)

PS: On a side note, I must say it may not have been a good idea to buy tat 40 inch tv.. cos now everyday, Ace just wants to watch MORE MOVIES from funshion... like addicted like tat... so we had to ban him from watching except on weekends.. weekdays he is only allowed to read books.. hahahaha:) I think it is time to get a library card for him.. or maybe I should check if he can borrow books from the library in school more often...
