Police!

Ace is very innovative these days...

Inspired by how Yeye used masking tape to tape over his toy car so that he can label the car a police car by writing the word "POLICE" on the masking tape, he started doing this on his toys as well.

If not, he would take a small piece, write the word "POLICE" on it and paste it over his shirt to make his shirt into a police uniform..

The other day, he took the masking take and pasted it over the lego and asked me to write the words, "POLICE STATION" over it and then he used his plastic army to act as policemen working in the police station and he had many good hours of fun.

And then a few days later, he took out the scotch tape and wrote the words, "police, police, police" (he copied it from the previous sticker he made) on the scotch tape and pasted across the d0orway and told me that he learnt this from "Sheng Zhi Yi Fa" (Crime Watch, a local programme made by the Police Department to heighten awareness about crimes in Singapore).

And then we had to go for his swimming lesson and he asked me not to remove.. and so I said ok.

When we came back, however, my grandma who thought it was really ugly to have masking tape and scotch tape all over the house tore then up and crumpled them. When Ace realized that Zhenpopo removed his POLICE tapes.. he cried and cried so hard as if his whole family died..

Luckily, he is also quite a understanding boy.. I explained to him that Zhen popo did not know that he wanted to continue playing with these things and because these things made the house look ugly.. so she took them out to throw them away... I explained to him that we were not in our own house so if we have to take care of Popo's house and make sure it is clean and nice and then he stopped crying already... And somehow, once he was able to stop crying, Zhenpopo actually came over and apologized to him...

Phew.... I wonder if he will really end up a police in the end:)
