Ace's and Waden's First Movie

Zillion thanks to Aunty Christine tat Ace gets to watch his first movie in the movie theatre...

Nice Christine had a family day organized by her company... and she bought tickets and invited me, Daddy and Ace to watch THE WILD with her family in Eng Wah cinema..

"It will be a good chance to expose the babies to the theatres.." she said.. and good for Waden and Ace to meet up again too.. too bad they can't speak to each other yet...

Well, it was not easy to get there at all as it was a bad taxi day for mummy and Ace. Daddy had an appt in suntec in the morning and so mummy and Ace had to make their way there themselves. They waited by the roadside (11.5kg Ace in mummy's arms) for 30 min and there was not a single cab who would stop to pick them up. When one finally did stop, uncle said, "Sorry, I dun go to town.." siao.. then drive taxi for wat right??? grrr... so mummy had to carry Ace and wait for 10 more minutes before she managed to flag down a London cab... sigh...

Good Christine mummy came all well prepared for the day... she brought raisins (in case he is hungry), milk(in case he is hungry), water(in case he is thirsty), blankets(in case he is cold), toys(in case he is bored), pram(in case he needs to lie somewhere)..

Comparatively, Angel mummy is a lousy mummy.. she brought Ace, herself, raisins and well.. tat's all.. hahaha.. cos her theory is.. if Ace is grumpy.. there is always the raisins and the breasts... if he is thirsty, he can drink breast milk also.. if he is cold, mummy can put her arms around him cos she already make him wear three quarter pants and socks... if he is bored, he can drink breast milk also.. hahaha... so when she saw how well prepared Christine Mummy is... she feels really guilty for how little she has prepared...

It is funny to see how two sets of parents treat their kids so differently... though they both love thier babies alot.. hehhee...

Christine mummy also did not allow Waden to go onto the floor.. but Angel Mummy and Max Daddy just let Ace crawl all over the floor even though it is dirty cos nowadays he is at this exploring age and likes to crawl all over the place.. we just let him be... our theory is tat he can take care of himself and should be left free to explore (our office has turned into a huge playground to him now).. just gotto wipe his hands later and make sure he dun put into his mouth...

When Ace makes lots of noise when he sees us eat, bad and lazy Angel mummy gave him some crumbs from her fruit tart because Ace always wants to be eating together with her and Daddy and she doesnt mind letting Ace try out different foods.. well, in addition, feeding him seemed like the fastest way to shut him up sometimes also.. but good Christine mummy is stricter to waden and would not allow him to eat rubbish for good of his health...

Actually, I just realised we are quite relaxed with Ace and pretty much let him do what he wants. Dunno whether will spoil him or not.. but i like to think that this will allow him to have character of his own and not just follow wat we say... YOU XING GE LEH....

Anywayz, ok lah.. I guess Angel mummy is just a DIFFERENT mummy.. not a BAD mummy... all parents are different mah.. and anywayz, Ace is her kid.. she can treat him anyhow she wants to and anyway she thinks right ;)

Anywayz, the two babies are cute.. they watched intently for like 1 min.. and then started to be restless.. and then midway started to want milk and after milk fell asleep and only woke up when the movie ended.. hahahahah ;)

Christine mummy even best, can make formula milk in semi darkness in the cinema.. really salute her ;)

I think we will wait awhile before we bring Ace to the movies again.. prefer to go alone with Daddy so tat can lovey dovey.. hee hee ;)

As for the movie.. erm.. it is very much like magadescar leh.. just tat the new chant is, "You're so cuddely, we love you..." instead of "you've got to move it move it.." so if you have watched the former, you can probably skip it unless you've got kids..

How about considering getting your own car then no need to rely on taxis and max daddy. It would be more difficult to get a taxi esp. when raining.
